FRIENDING WITH BAMBOOS
White Lotus have been appreciated by ancient for that it comes out of mud but without being sullied,and I love bamboos only.Among the previous innumerable praises,I am so agree with the Su Dongpo’s words that “I prefer to eat without meat rather than live without bamboos.
Without meat makes man thin, without bamboos makes man sesheri! Living the place surrounded by bamboos is a great enjoyment to the literators! Bamboo is symbol to a good natural instinct and distinctive characters which give me a edification of philosophy and the power of a great personality：She is fresh and elegant.As the seasons turn,her body and leaves are green perpetually.
From which informs people the spirit of Perseverance.It has only green color all the year round, not else;even it has not flowers at all.Only green leaves that disabled to attract bees.so we can see its simplisity and elegance.She is so plain and fruitlessness,her green branches can cover our eyesight so that we can forget the season which we are in.On it ,we can see the clear distribution of the bamboo nodes indicate the meaning of modesty.
Its empty inside indicates the meaning of open-minded.its content is comparable to the sea.Her straight fegure indicates the meaning of uprightness.She grow to the sky,bearing the storm and the wind,which make me admired.She can stand the chilliness,and not envy any flamboyance,which is matter-of-fact .
Indeed I love bamboo not for its color or changeable but for its silent spirit of contribution to people. Stand by the bamboo,I would become one otherworldly.
